ALT Board Nominees for the ALT 2021 Election

Lisa CowanLisa has been active with Ardmore Little Theatre in the performance, technical, and administrative areas of the theatre for the past 20 years. Her experience on and off stage will be a viable asset for serving a non-profit organization. She has been employed by Ardmore Village for over 10 years as the Occupancy Specialist and Grant Writer. During her previous time serving on the board, Lisa was the Board of Directors President and Secretary. She has also served as chairperson for the Marketing Committee. Lisa would like to use her experience and networks to help Ardmore Little Theatre grow as a business and continue the tradition of quality live theatre in Southern Oklahoma!

Nathanael Durbin – Nathanael Durbin has been actively involved with ALT for over 13 years, including light & sound design, set building, and stage-managing children’s theatre. However, theatre has always been a part of his life as a performer starting at 3. “Education is really important to me. If given the honor of being elected to the Board, I would like to help with bringing more educational programs to teens/kids so that they have the opportunity to learn all areas of theatre. I’m a team player and feel that my 28 years of experience would make me a great asset to the Board.

Cheryl Key – The president of her family’s finance company, Cheryl Key’s civic roles have included chairing the boards of the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce, the Ardmore Development Authority and the Ardmore Main Street Authority. She has also served on the boards of Leadership Oklahoma, the Ardmore Tourism Authority and the City of Ardmore’s Planning Commission. She currently serves on the board of Create Ardmore. An Ardmore native, she is a graduate of Ardmore High School and Oklahoma State University with a degree in journalism. Her family includes her husband, Robert Meek, two married daughters and two granddaughters.

Donna Love – Becoming involved with the Ardmore Little Theater four years ago has been very rewarding and a lot of fun. Through five musicals and two plays it has been a privilege to get involved not only in the performances but also working on sets and costumes. Although this is my first time being involved with Little Theater I have always looked at a stage and wondered what I could do on or who could I put on it. There have been several children’s plays I wrote and produced, three fund raiser variety shows, organized a group of performers to participate in local festivals and events and was events coordinator for the Irving Texas Preservation and Main Street Programs.

Gordon Micklos – A volunteer with ALT the last four years, Gordon has taken several classes to learn all aspects of theater life.  He has worked to better prop storage, maximizing use of available space without new recurring expense.  He enjoys singing but avoids the bright lights, though he did appear on stage once!  He previously served on the board of Rebuilding Arlington (TX), and as president of the Grapevine Dirty Dozen (TX), a city founded volunteer group. He worked several years with both Boy and Girl Scouts at the unit, district and council levels.

Daniel OylerHonored to be considered for Ardmore Little Theater Board of Directors is Daniel S. Oyler.  A nurse by trade, Daniel has appeared in numerous ALT shows including: Hello Dolly, Les Miserable, Oklahoma, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Few Good Men, The Musical Comedy Murders of the 1940’s, Annie, just to name a few.  He and his wife, Jodi, live in Marietta.  I am ready for live theater to return safely to Southern Oklahoma.

Ashleigh Shepard – Ashleigh has been active with ALT for over a decade, often bringing her family along to auditions, set building and more. She believes that community theater is vital for our local residents, and is passionate about growing our membership and spreading the excitement of live theater throughout our entire community. There’s nothing better than playing pretend! She appreciates your consideration for the ALT Board, and is excited to serve an organization so close to her heart.

Monica Stolfa has been working with ALT for over 20 years. In that time she has acted, directed, stage managed, house managed, served on the board and is now a fledging playwriter.
