All performances are at 7:00pm, except for the Sunday matinee at 2:30pm.

SYNOPSIS: A sunny room on an upper floor is prime real estate in the Bristol Place Senior Living Facility, so when the cantankerous Abby is forced to share her quarters with new-arrival Marilyn, she has no choice but to get rid of the infuriatingly chipper woman by any means necessary. A seemingly harmless bet between the old women quickly escalates into a dangerous game of one-upmanship that reveals not just the tenacity of these worthy opponents, but also deeper truths that each would rather remain hidden.

The Characters: (Minimum of 3 men and 3 women, some multiple roles may be divided)

ABBY BINDER: (Female, 60+) Veteran resident of the assisted living center (or at least thinks she is.) Very much prefers being alone and quiet and easily spits venom when these things are infringed upon. Has a good heart but a realistic one. Life has dealt her many bad hands.

MARILYN DUNNE: (Female, 60+) The new resident to the home and Abby's new roommate. Bubbly and talkative. Has a genuine enjoyment of life despite what troubles have happened or may lie ahead. Her general happiness does however mask her mischievous plotting, which she is a master.

SCOTTY: (Male, 20’s-30’s) A resident aide of the center who is Abby's and Marilyn's aide. Mature for his age. Aspires to be an actor. What you give him is what he will give you back.

COLLEEN AND WOMAN IN WHITE: (30’s-40’s) Actress will play two parts. Colleen is Marilyn's daughter and baby of the family. Married to Derek. She is very similar to her mother, bright, happy, a little nuts. She also has a pool of rage from her father that erupts once in a blue moon. The Woman in White is a mother with a newborn baby that is in danger of being eaten as part of a haunted house show.

BENJAMIN, LEWIS and CLOWN: (Male, 40’s- 50's) One actor may play all three roles or it may be divided among multiple actors.  A general roughness is what is needed here. Benjamin is Abby's only son and used to be a heroin junkie but is clean and getting his life together. Lewis is one of Marilyn's three sons who runs the family skydiving business. The clown is a scary haunted house clown, bring your best evil laugh!

DEREK, ZOMBIE BUTLER and MASKED MAN: (30’s-40’s) One actor may play all three parts or the parts may be played by separate actors . Derek is the son-in-law to Marilyn and married to Colleen. He is an in-law, so a hair out of place when other in-laws are around. Never totally on board with the hijinks that ensue between Abby and Marilyn. Loves his family though. The Zombie Butler is the tour guide in the haunted house. Be prepared to use an accent along the lines of cockney. The Masked Man is in fact, Derek, in a mask.
